         Priyamvada Birla  Sr. Secondary School is proud to have a sophisticated physics lab with the latest state-of- the-art facilities that equip the students to hand on the experience.

         One can see that Physics is a vast subject engulfing various disciplines in it and at school level a student is taught fundamentals of all these disciplines. In each of it there is multitude of experiments to be performed at school level.
       
        There is a wide range of physics laboratory equipment's from the common ones like magnets, pulleys, pendulums, inclined planes, heat lamps, beakers, lenses, glasses, tuning forks, item scales etc to sophisticated ones like spectroscopes, microscopes,electromagnets, volt-ammeter, potentiometer, etc.

         Students understand the difference between theory and application. Physics laboratory helps a student in improving their approach towards the subject.As per the syllabus, scheduled experiments are carried out  with precautions from class 9 to 12  in a proper way . The experiments are to be  done by the groups of the students for promoting group activity. To make the students curious & to develop the innovative qualities in them,Science exhibition and science quiz's are to be organised  time to time.

      To study and understand the dynamic of physics subject,practical knowledge of different phenomena is as important as the theoretical knowledge.Keeping this in mind we have maintained one of the most well equipped Physics labs which is a hub of modern scientific facilities combined with the expertise and knowledge of our staff.
 
      Following the CBSE curriculum ,our lab provides the perfect environment to conduct all of experiments in all the domains. It has a provision of large number of experimental setups on different varieties of fields of Physics.
