Chemistry Laboratory
Chemistry is often perceived as complicated and even boring. At our school, learning chemistry is super fun! It is a place to explore, enjoy and also understand the responsibility of treating equipment and chemicals with the care and attention they deserve. The Chemistry Laboratory provides a platform for students to nurture the budding scientist within them. School has a spacious and very well ventilated chemistry lab. It can accommodate 36 students at a time for performing the practicals. The acids and other reactive chemicals are stored in separate cupboards as a further precautionary measure. The students are provided with separate workstations with individual burners. The exhaust system efficiently sustains a comfortable environment in the room even while performing experiments requiring chemicals that let out fumes. The work space is in the form of slabs with their individual connection of burner,sinks with taps, individual chemical and reagent racks. Lab has fire extinguisher in case of fire accidents.Students are taught about safety aspect before they get down to conducting experiments.
